Cost per Action – How to Make Money with C.P.A

Nine months ago I had not heard this term.  In case you don’t know about cost per action, let me explain.  Most people understand what C.P.C (cost per click) is.  For example, Google Ad sense uses C.P.C and if you are currently sing Ad sense to monetize your web sites and somebody clicks on an ad displayed on your website, you get paid “per click” But with CPA (Cost per Action) you only get paid if somebody clicks on the ad, goes to the advertiser’s website and does one of two things: -

1.  Fills in a form and supplies a lead to the advertiser or;

2.  Buys something from the people running the advertising campaign on the site. 

At first explanation, it doesn’t sound too great but it can be very, very lucrative.

The Guru explained it this way.  Rather than getting cents per click, you earn dollars per action and sometimes this means hundreds of dollars.

CPA is generally for more experienced web masters but if you follow the Guru’s tips, why not get in to the game early?

But for now, please read on.  I will show you a few of my websites that I built specifically for Ad sense Income that now feature cost per action, banners as well as Ad sense advertisements and they pay well when you combine the two income streams.

Is a very basic website that I built that runs an automatic update system and hosts lots of Ad sense advertisements on each page.

To improve the income there are many travel related CPA choices that give me an improved chance of some income when someone visits the site.

I have really left my options open because I can change my offer at any time.

I normally alternate between travel related C.P.A offers or high converting and very generalized work from home offers that convert well.

Why not visit and see what I have running at the moment? Although I am keener on working in software and specialised Internet Marketing areas, the work at home offer appeals to a generic market like a traveler who clicks to visit a travel site.

The particular offer I use converts like crazy and is quite easy to sell in generalised niche markets. 

If they choose to buy my commission is $34.98 per sale and of course they join my list for future offers.

You will notice I have an ad for lonely planet books, as this is topical for people searching in a travel niche. 

Another great example is e Bay. Having an e Bay banner or link on your website covers a broad range of topics all at once:

First step is Applying to join.

Apply to join advertisers that would be a fit for the niche that your website is in.

If you are knocked back as a CJ advertiser which does happen regularly my suggestion would be to join e Bay as an affiliate.

I would recommend looking at all three of these companies and taking some serious notes to gain a deeper understanding of CPA.
